Overview

As of 2015, our quality pine sheds are built by our other company, G.M. French Construction. The fluctuation of the American dollar has driven Amish-made shed prices up considerably, meaning they are no longer cheaper than our Canadian-made sheds. Our better-quality materials and experienced workmanship result in a better value for the same amount of money.
Our sheds are constructed with 2x6 floor joists, 2x6 rafters, 5/8" tongue & groove plywood, pressure-treated runners, screwed tin, galvanized nails, and 6'6" standard wall height. They are built for our climate and will last much longer than the average amish shed.
We are also able to do more custom work. Our builders are very experienced - normally working in high-end construction and renovation - and will be happy to discuss your needs and build to suit.
We encourage you to look at other sheds of similar price in the area, including amish sheds, and compare the workmanship. There is a difference.

Delivery & Base Preparation

Pricing for delivery depends on both the size of shed, and the distance to the destination. For deliveries within an hour of The Old Co-op, sized up to 10x16, delivery is $150. For anything larger within an hour of The Old Co-op, delivery is $250.
This pricing is for a simple drop. This means that we can back our truck and 26' trailer into where your Amish-style shed will be going and drive straight out after dropping the shed. The driver will be lowering the edge of the shed onto the prepared pad and driving away slowly to lower it off the trailer. If we cannot drive straight out, the shed will be askew on the base, and my damage it. The area and path back to the shed's location must also be free of obstructions. Please note that we do not guarantee your lawn will be undamaged.
If we cannot back the truck and trailer up to the location and drive straight out, we can bring our bobcat for an extra fee of $150 (for the first hour). With the bobcat, we can maneouver your shed wherever you want.
We typically recommend a 6" compacted, granular stone base, and ensure that the shed is level to the point that the doors open and close properly. We take no responsibility for issues related to an improperly-prepared base that we did not install.
For quotes on delivery or base preparation for your pine shed, please contact us, and we will discuss your needs and work out a quote for you. A quote may require a site visit, which we provide free-of-charge within a reasonable area. Contact us now to learn more!

How to Order

Our pine sheds are built to order, so the wait time is depedent on our current workload. The average wait time is typically 2-3 weeks. We do usually have some pre-built pine sheds on-site, as well. If one of them suits your needs, we will accept payment in full and arrange delivery for as soon as possible.
If you are ready to order, come into the store and talk to one of our sales associates. We will do up an order form with you and have you sign off on it to ensure that you will be getting what you want. We then require a 50% deposit. Once this is done, we will provide you with a copy of the order and we will give you a call once the shed is complete to arrange delivery and any require site preparation.
